Cel mai mare hit al formatiei in America, Another One Bites The Dust a stat patru saptamani pe prima pozitie a topului US si a devenit un "stadium anthem" la multe competitii sportive. Piesa compusa de John are un ritm repetitiv si o linie melodica simpla, pe care doar chitara bas o dezvolta intr-un solo. Mesajul piesei este, de fapt, un manifest impotriva razboiului si a ororilor pe care le aduce acesta ("out the doorway the bullets rip, to the sound of beat", "how long can you stand the heat"), distrugand atatea vieti omenesti ("another one bites the dust").
