Ceea ce este interesant la aceasta piesa dinamica, cu un ritm incendiar si schimbari ametitoare ale liniei melodice este faptul ca versurile se constituie intr-o adresare catre Tatal Ceresc, ca un fel de spovedanie ("I have sinned dear Father"), de recunoastere a tuturor imperfectiunilor umane ("I have stolen, stolen many times raised my voice in anger when I know I never should").
Greselile firii omenesti sunt prezentate cu o nota de umor: minciuna e sugerata prin aberatii si enormitati ("I have sailed the seas... from Mars to Mercury... I have drunk the wine"), dorinta de a fi mai bun, sincera pana la un punct, dar mai greu realizabila- printr-o serie de promisiuni pompoase: "I'm gonna be your slave, I'm gonna try behave, I'm gonna kneel down by your side and pray"). Dar daca aici exista umor, nu-l mai gasim insa, in aluziile amare la atitudinea societatii fata de un om mai "slab de inger": "everybody deceives me... why don't you leave me alone?", "they never ever let you win".
Printre actele de acuzare strigate de cor ("LIAR!"), se inalta, insa, si o raza de speranta, desigur, nu din partea acestei lumi: "Father please forgive me, you know you'll never leave me please will you direct me in the right way"...
